That's the Half!

Day 183

You know what today is? Today is Day 183 and that means I am at my halfway point of my 365 Day Challenge! I only have 182 more days to blog!

It doesn't feel like I have written 183 blog posts in a row but on the other hand it does feel like I have been doing this for longer than six months.

The last month has been the hardest for me. I was running out of ideas and out of energy but now knowing that I am halfway done I feel a little more energized.

So celebrate my fellow bloggers!

It is all downhill from here!

Now let me share some advice for my fellow bloggers. I know writing at times has been a chore and sometimes the spirit is willing but the body is beat. But look at what you have accomplished. Take time to read a few of your older blog posts. I am sure there are things you blogged about that you have already forgotten. Now aren't you glad that you are blogging? Hasn't it been worth it?

Blogging daily has been a fun ritual. Whether I am recording things that recently happened or trying to remember and document the past, I feel like I have learned a lot and all the hard work has paid off. I am also thankful for my crew of fellow bloggers. I appreciate that you are taking the time to blog. Not only does it push me to do my own blog but it also has given me a chance to get to know you better. And it also has given me a ton of ideas I can steal. Each one of you has helped in your own way to make me work harder in accomplishing this challenge and my own personal goals. My only advice to my fellow bloggers is to keep plugging away. But I also think it would be wise that sometime this week you take just fifteen minutes and generate a list of what you would like to blog about. Blog about it on your blog, just save it as a draft and refer to it when you are out of ideas. And if the mood hits you, get writing!

Now to those that read my blog that are not currently blogging. I only have one thing to say to you.

Don't think that your blog won't be interesting, don't think that you have nothing to say, don't think that you don't know how to blog. You now have friends that have done it before. They can help you set up a blog, they can help you by suggesting ideas, they can help motivate you to do it.

Take the challenge and surprise yourself.

I know you can do it. You know you can do it. I triple-dog-dare you to do it!

  2. I was just about to comment that I need to start a blog, when I see that my dear sister has already posted a comment about creating a blog for me so I'll start this! Anyway, congrats to my 'soul cousin' on this accomplishment! Way to go!
